Supports have been erected for the canopy over gasoline pumps at the new Country Fair convenience store in Kane. The site on Biddle Street (Route 6) is between Hacker and Welsh streets. The store is expected to open in late October or November.

This vacant lot on Fraley Street in Uptown Kane is the site of a proposed amphitheater with a stage and seating for the audience. The Kane Area Revitalization Enterprise (KARE) has raised more than $110,000 for the project.
The covered bridge over Two-Mile Run at Wildcat Park near Ludlow is a popular summer gathering spot for families. The annual Arts and Crafts Show at the park is Oct. 3.
