Kane getting to be a community of much mystery. The past week was one of decided thrills locally. This a.m., pump station operators almost stumble over the body of an unconscious man who had disappeared when the police arrived.

A bold daylight robbery is tried in the city park. A knife was brought into play and four revolver shots were fired in an attempt to get an Indian’s money.

Had a burglar alarm in his chicken coop. Bells commenced ringing when the thieves removed a screen. Several shots fired but went wide of the mark.
