State and county authorities today were investigating the death of Charles Borg, 53 year old woodsman, found dead last evening in dense forest near Wetmore by F.H. Pittock, Barnes oil producer, who was hunting.

Forty-two U.S. Navy seaplanes poised at Pearl Harbor today for a 475 mile mass flight over the North Pacific in a test of the mobility of Hawaii’s aerial defenses.

Kane’s schoolboy football team played its best game of the season Saturday, winning from Salamanca 25 to 7 and in doing so wound up a nine-game year which for games won and lost were 7-2.
