Lady Wolves pick up road win over Ridgway

Kane girls basketball used a strong second half to power past Ridgway 53-27 Wednesday night at Ridgway Area High School.
The Lady Elkers kept pace with the Lady Wolves in the opening half, trailing 26-19. In the second half, the visitors pulled away with a 27-8 advantage after halftime.
“It was a good road AML win,” said Kane girls basketball coach Dave Kiehl.
Kane (15-1 overall, 7-0 AML) is scheduled to host DCC at 8 p.m. Friday night. The girls varsity game will be the second game of a doubleheader with the boys to host Cameron County at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
